Pepsi

Sports, Soda, and Culture

Pepsi prides itself on being a top voice of pop-culture. They employ top ranking billboard artists to represent their brand. And Pepsi sponsors some of the biggest sporting events and arenas in the US while supplying some of the biggest headline performances for them. They go against the grain but also with it, and we are the innovators of it. Taking inspiration from every corner of the globe and placing Pepsi in center-stage. I am grateful for having thought up, created alongside teams, and even led teams for some of these memorable moments in Pepsi history, pop-culture, and with so many great creators.

Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII

The Super Bowl is probably one of, if not the biggest event of the year in the US. When it came to Pepsi’s turf in New York City, we knew that it had to be a complete takeover of the city. Billboards, busses, trains and especially huge city wide events took place in the months leading up to Super Bowl 48, and with one important objective... Everything pointed to (quite literally) the stadium where it all would take place, and towards Pepsi vending machines. For the 2 months leading up to the Super Bowl you couldn’t take one step in NYC without seeing blue! This is one of those campaigns not many get to see in their careers. I’m so psyched I got to be a part of it by ideating and designing the takeover of Grand Central, Time Square, and Penn Station with some of the best art directors that NY had to offer.

Pepsi Power of 3

As most know, Pepsi owns quite a few other food and beverage products that gather around well with football. So using their biggest products and a few athlete sponsorships we created the power of 3 as a lead up to the NFL Season and for the biggest event of the year, maybe the decade, Super Bowl 50! A campaign focused on the pairing of Pepsi with the game-day greats, chips and salsa that are ALL FOR FOOTBALL! As I’m not a big sports fan, I love the culture though, and I am proud to have illustrated and art directed this campaign that took over stores, magazines, and the road to the Super Bowl!

Pepsi & the carolina Panthers +
All for Luke quechly

“All out of Luke!” a classic Pepsi sponsorship campaign that was all in on Luke Quechly and the Carolina Panthers. We created a series of nickname cans, bottles, and a promotional campaign where people could win tickets, more Pepsi, and get their very own Carolina Panthers inspired nick-name.

Pepsi and PepsiCo Work

Working with Pepsi means working with nearly all of their brands and products. This is but a small portion of the work created with their partnership during my time at TracyLocke. And these are what I think to be some of the most fun and fully immersive programs that we created with them.
